Just made it through my worst customer service experience with Sam's Club yet. We somewhat recently changed banks, and along with that, debit cards. I logged into samsclub.com to change my card details. I deleted my old card then got an error "Unable to add card" when adding my new card. Assuming my computer or browser was to blame, I tried several different computers and browsers, all receiving the same error. Then the nightmare started. I contacted customer service on Aug 26th, 2019. After being bounced all over the place and on hold several times, I was given a ticket number (#[protected]) and told it was an issue in their system (no? really?). The service rep confirmed my number and email and said they would get back to me in 24-48 hours... Only over an hour of my life wasted on the phone! Then the wait began... NO CALL, NO EMAILS, except their regular emails (which I unsubscribed from, both online and in-store...). I got in contact with Sams again on Sept 3rd. I was again given the fake apologies and said I would be getting a call or email within 48-72 hours this time! I asked if they would prorate my membership for the time I was unable to order online, she said they (whoever "they" are) would take care of me. After getting off with customer service, guess what happened? Surprise! No calls or emails again! Two Sam's reps lied straight to me. I tried to add my new debit card again (which I have used at other online retailers without issue) on Sept 12th. Sam's Club rejected it with the same error, yet again. So the issue still wasn't resolved either. I called into their support center again on Sept 12th. I finally talked to a manager who straightened it out, but again with an attitude of disgust, as if the whole issue was my fault in some way. I guess I shouldn't switch banks?! Keep in mind that part of the reason we went with Sams Club (over Costco) is that we live pretty rurally (over an hour to the nearest Sam's Club, a bit under an hour to the nearest Costco) but Sams included free shipping on many items online, so the membership made sense financially. Online ordering was the sole reason we got a Sams membership! This all comes on the heels of another experience that left my family of 7 waiting for over two hours in-store for an online order that should have been ready for pickup 3 hours before our arrival, at least that time they gave us a $50 gift card (without us asking for anything in return for our wait) and treated us like humans. We will be looking very seriously at Costco when our Sam's membership expires in Jan of 2020, very seriously. If the customer service would have resolved the issue in a respectful and timely manner and hadn't lied to me (twice!), I wouldn't be writing this review or considering Costco.

I purchased eye glasses at Sams club in Hickory, NC spring of 2018. These are the worst glasses I have every owned and been wearing glasses for 30 years. The lenses fall out and I have to clean them 10 times a day because they always have a film on them. When I went back to Sams club a month later they told to keep the screws tight and you'll have to live with cleaning them all the time. I wear my old glasses most of the because theses are just poor quality.

I received a special ad from Sams club for Aug 21st 2019. I was very interested in The Lazy Boy Big & Tall Executive Desk Chair. Sale Price 179.00. I found a better price of 149.00 but it was for August 6th 2019. I took this offer to my local Sams Club and was informed they would not honor it. I am a Plus Member ( 100.00 ) and for that money I should receive the lowest price. The associate was curt and condescending. Why should I remain a plus member if the regular members get the best price. I was never informed of the August 6th sale on this chair.

Sam's club has completely screwed us over for our trip to Disneyland. We went to purchase Disney gift cards online to save a couple of dollars and they were expected to deliver on time the Friday before our trip. The following day as we were waiting for the shipping confirmation it shows online that Sam's club canceled our order? So we call and they say because it's after 5 I have to wait till the next day to speak with a supervisor. Come the next day after fighting for close to half an hour they say they've reordered our gift cards and theylll refund us for the original price in FIVE DAYS and charge us for the new gift cards but they'll still get here on time. Cool, everything's fine. The next morning we wake up to an email
To call customer service where they tell us they can't deliver our gift cards until the 6th! So they cancel our order AGAIN and still won't give us our money back for the gift cards we paid for for nearly a week. We've paid for disney tickets for 2 twice now and have had to cancel our anniversary trip to Disney because they've completely maxed out our savings that we had for our trip. I head back to Texas the following day with no way to even go a few days later. Not only was this entire experience a bummer- I had to call Sam's club customer service so many times I have their number memorized and had to speak with employees who were completely useless and only took our money again with no plan to give us the produce we paid for. SO bummed and so disappointed with Sam's club.

Myself, sister and mother purchased a birthday cake, as we we're waiting the area was full of flies. Frosty buckets were left open, we can see flies inside, flies on walls. I was even trying to smack some. I told someone about it but was told they've tried to put traps. I've always shopped there the past years and just recently I've noticed that Sam's has gone from a perfect 10 to a 4 at best. I said to my family and friends that they must be under new management. Not doing a great job at all!

Sam's club changes everything. As a frequent customer, I found products that I like and frequent the store to purchase those products. However the products change! The butter has changed, the solids are no longer being sold, eggs were sold by the case, but not any more, philadelphia cream cheese was sold in the large blocks but not anymore. Now, the membership has changed. I have a small baking business. Now I can't get early access unless I pay for the expensive membership. I have had to use a different store for eggs by the crate and cream cheese. Although I will still use sam's for a few things, I will look at other locations for products needed. This is just not worth the gas or time.
grill gazebo
We purchased a grilled gazebo on 3 July 2019 for $599 total charged $648.42. We asked before purchasing were they going on sell anytime soon because we had been looking at them since Father's Day and they were $499 around Memorial Day but we missed the sale by one day. Well they just recently went on sale. We went in the store today with our receipt to get the sale price & was told about the 7 days return policy to get the price adjustment. We were past the 7 days but in the same breathe we were told we can bring the grill gazebo back to the store (just under 400lbs) and return it and buy the sale grill gazebo. Buy another one at the sale price. Have them load it on a flat for you and then have them wheel it to customer service. Return it with your old receipt. Let them do all of the work for not taking care of their customers. It’s wrong!

is there not one drop of compassion for elderly people who arrive approximately one-half hour early and are told to wait until exactly 10:00 a.M. To enter the store?
i am a 73 year old who lives 20 miles east of sam's club. Once in a blue moon my timing becomes off, in this case it was due to no line at sam's club gasoline.
I have been a loyal sam's club member for four+ years and have answered every email questionnaire giving stellar reviews
i arrived this morning at the gasoline station of sam's club, and was shocked to see the aisles were empty of cars, so i was able to complete my purchase of gas up at a rapid speed. I then proceeded over to sam's club and parked my car.
At the entrance i was stopped by the door person, who in a very rude and condescending way, raised her voice to me in front of everyone standing there: "why don't you get an upgrade"? i responded that i was on social security and couldn't afford to upgrade.

Have been buying this for several years without any problems from ur Springfield, Illinois store. In early 2019 bought one and litter had no clumping ability and finally threw it out and thinking this was a production defect bought another only to suffer same consequence. Took it back and got my money refunded. Bought Paws litter somwhere else and it works like members mark used to. I wish u would alert at least your Springfield customers of this product defect and correct it so could buy again but will not do until I know problem solved.

I went to sam's club to renew my membership with an online promotion. When we got there Briuna wasn't able or didn't really try to help us all she said was that the promo was only to upgrade without even looking or reading the email. I was more upset when she called the manager Maria 2 calls and 10 minutes later to show up and not be able to help us. She asked Briuna to help us when she was done with her customer but instead called on her next customer and completely ignored us. Next time I will be walking out and taking my business to Costco
bakery sub rolls
We have been purchasing your bakery sub rolls for many years(JUMBO WHITE HOAGIE 6 CT UPC#[protected]). As recently as 6/7/19 we purchased them as usual, and as usual they were good. This past week we purchased a pack and my husband commented they seem flat and not as fresh and nice as before, we had to use them for garlic bread and NOT hoagies. Today we went to Sams, went to the bakery and spoke with a very nice associate, we asked about the rolls, thinking the proofed wasn't working correctly. But we were informed that you have again changed your supplier and they come in already baked. So no nice bakery smell to entice you back to bakery, no nice beautiful puffy rolls with a lovely appetizing color. Of course you think your saving money, you are not, you have no bakery aroma, no soft beautiful rolls and probably fewer bakery associates.
Unfortunately, one of the main reasons we come to Sams is because of your bakery. We will give up our membership this next time and continue with BJ's whose bakery is also good, plus they have a wonderful clean fresh deli with great prices.
We will not be the only complaint you receive and I would imagine the shrink in the bakery departments will rise.
Thank you for your time, please consider returning to the Pillsbury Rolls or the previous before these current to have happy customers.

Get your checkout people back. Not everyone wants to self check. We use a check and cannot do that with self checkout. Ridiculous. Thinking about switching to Costco. I went to the Burleson Texas Sams tonight. It was very busy on a Friday night. There were 2 checkers open. One was waiting for manager assistance and didn't seem to be too much in a hurry to help. So I switched to only other available checker. He wasn't in too much of a hurry either. I don't want to self checkout. So much for customer service.

I went to Franklin mills store in Philadelphia on 25th may for tyre replacement. iwas more than 4 hour waiting. I am a member of club for about 20 years and a senior citizen. driving about 15 miles one for store.
Today, I called club twice. First time got disconnected after 5 minutes. second time I was told waiting time was 6 hours.
Now I called customer service 887467726. The customer service representative disconnected the phone intentionally when I was speaking to him.
Very poor example of customer service.
If not replied, I will report to other organization which for registering the complaint.

I was just at sam's club checking out with my significant other, a male.
"nathan" was the cashier. When we went up to the register, he was talking with a young lady who also works there, he took my old card with my picture on it that i accidentally gave him, "looked at my significant-other" and said it was no good! he would "only" talk to him, i am female, ... I knew right away i gave him my old card instead of my new card,
...I kept saying, "let me get my new card out, he ignored me like i wasn't even there and only spoke to my "male" friend and told him again the card is no good maybe it's expired.
...I said again as i was looking in my wallet, "let me get my new card out", he again ignored me and said the same thing to my significant other that the card was no good.
I finally asked him if he was against "women"? ...He said no i just thought you two were together". I said, yes, we are together, but he doesn't have a card, 'i" do! and i'm the one speaking to you!
"shouldn't you be speaking to "me" as a card holder, a member instead of him?
i gave him my new card, he used it and slammed it back down for me to pick-up. This is the second incident i've had lately with sam's club. I've been a member since the late 90's when i worked for tricare. I quit for a couple of years then went back to sam's club!
...There's a "costco" coming to the surprise, az area soon, they have broke ground. I'm thinking of getting a membership there instead!
...Another incident was with the women cashiers, ... I have a nice looking significant other and when we check out at times, ... Again, i'm the member, the card holder, i think i put him on my account, not sure, but they look at, smile and joke with "him" instead of the one with the card and paying for the merchandise!
...Just extremely fed-up!
