I had an oil change completed in Winnipeg, approximately January or February 2026. Mr. Lube convinced me that I needed new tires, so I purchased a new set for $2120.61. Went home since they needed a day to get the tires in. My son informed me that 2 tires were ok and 2 looked new. Why would Mr. Lube take advantage of a female senior? Thank god for my son, who went straight to Mr. Lube, made a complaint to the manager, who investigated, which took a couple of days, then a month and a half to get a cheque. Why wasn't it placed back on my credit card since it was the same day,
Desired outcome: Apologize, stop taking advantage of female seniors. I could have gone back for my tires; I wouldn't have been unable to return. Why would Mr. Lube, whom I believed was professional?
