Coffey Automotive

They don't treat everyone equally. I'm a black African American woman. I chose not to have them fix my car. The price was too high. They sent my tow truck driver away, saying they needed to put it together and the diagnosis wasn't paid for. I didn't know the tow truck arrived before me. I paid, but they still hadn't finished working on my car. I waited in the cold for over an hour. Then I called my agent and she told me they had come. Coffey and the lady at the front knew, but they didn't inform me!

On 07/06, I brought my car to Coffey Automotive because I heard a strange noise coming from the right front of my car. They told me that I needed to replace the sway bars, and it would cost me $346.89. I agreed to the repair and left my car with them.

The very next day, I noticed that my car was still making the exact same noise. I called Coffey Automotive to let them know, and they advised me to schedule an appointment to bring my car back in so they could test drive it.

On 07/22, I brought my car back to Coffey Automotive for further inspection. After they test drove it, they informed me that I actually needed two catalytic converters, and each one would cost $1,957.00.

Feeling unsure about their diagnosis, I decided to take my car to another auto repair shop on 07/23. They replaced one catalytic converter, and to my relief, the problem was solved.

In the end, I ended up paying for a repair at Coffey Automotive that I didn't actually need. They failed to fix my car, and I had to seek help elsewhere.
