The maids come into the room and force you out and steal from you. This is a complaint from more than one occupant here. There's a new manger at this Motel 6. Very aggressive on talking to the customers. Two rude housekeepers that are husband and wife. Knocking on the room doors at 8 am asking if you are checking out. Saw a customer in room 116 being a housekeeper, taking out the trash. Thought customers in the room are just paying the rent. Not paying off the rent to be housekeeping. No not water, sink clogged up, front desk didn't answer during a emergency situation, no towels in room no room service the next day, a woman running naked in parking lot with blood all over her, caught up in a murder case. I was so i'm shocked I was in shock after I left there and very stressed and mind you the gardener blowing his loud blower at the door at 8 am in the morning.

Motel 6 Ignored safety and health protection for covid-19

Location: Motel 6 Richmond, 7831 Shrader Rd, Richmond VA 23294
Date/Time: Dec 20, 2020 @ 12:12 pm
I was given early registration and checked into a freshly cleaned room at 1:00 p.m. date shown above. From there everything fell apart. People walking down the hall without masks. People outside panhandling, parking cars in aisles with the doors open and otherwise creating an attractive nuisance. If you are panhandling get off private property, you don't belong there. If you are standing in a doorway, move, you don't belong there.
People just don't get it. This is a pandemic, minimize contact and social interaction is recommended. This motel is showing signs of disrespecting the health and safety recommendations put out by the CDC.

Desired outcome: Discourage loitering. Clean up and dispose of trash in proper containers. Police parking lot and remove vehicles parked in aisles.

I payed for a room and gave an extra 100 dollar bill on mistake. I called front desk and they confirmed they had it. Was told someone would bring me my change with the extra 100 when they did the correct amount wasn't even in the envelope they handed me. Called front desk again and the story changed. I'm not one to Jump to conclusions but their inconsistency almost assures me that I'm not at fault here.

Motel 6 Stealing money scheme

I finally realized how motel 6 carefully designed to steal your money properly.
- they make online reservation super easy but very difficult to change or cancel.
- anything they say over the phone is not legit including changes of reservation and such.
- upon complained, they request 30 days statement of credit card to verify before the refund process can begin. This is important because if they charge you in the first place, why need a 30 day cc statement in which of course you would not have it ready right away. By the time you get to it, perhaps a month later, you may forget or they may come up with new excuse

Bottom line: stay away from motel6. They are there to steal your money legally
