My husband had quadruple bypass last year. After his last visit with his surgeon he wanted a cardiologist close to home. So it was Intermountain Health. Terrible decision. His first cardiologist was so uninterested in my husband's overall being he switched to one that got high regard. Not so. He has had one visit with him within the year. He had a test last week and I called twice to speak to his cardiologist and of course I could not. Spoke to nurses and told them that on the day of his test I want an answer from his doc about getting off of one drug. Having horrible side effects. Day of no one was available and when he asked to his his cardiologist was told he would have to wait until August. They said he could see his previous cardiologist whom we fired. What the F! This is anything but acceptable. What kind of organization is this? Most of the staff do not have a clue on what they are doing nor do they care. Now I am searching for a reliable medical facility and new cardiologist. So do yourself a favor and do not consider this facility.
