Is Bullies of NC the Walmart the Bull Terrier Community. Why do Bullies of NC and affiliates, catfish other breeders. They have and continue to put down other breeders to make themselves look better. Ask yourself why are you paying outrageous prices for a puppy you don't own. You are basically on a long term lease, and they are telling you they know what's best for you and your pet (like your an idiot). I'm not saying they doesn't breed good dogs, but from what I have found they are no better or worse than any other good breeder. What I am saying is, that they have terrible business practices (catfishing other breeders) and charge a ridiculous amount for a pup, that is not distinguishable from any other bull terrier and if it is that is a problem in itself.
Don't pay Porsche prices, when you're really getting a Volkswagen from a Chevy dealer!

purchasing a puppy
I put down a deposit for a puppy with Bullies of NC. Steve seemed to be very approachable and easy-going when I initially spoke to him a few weeks ago, however, I now find that I was incorrect about his first impression. After making my deposit and reviewing the information on their webpage again, I decided to send an email to ensure that I receive further clarification on a few things which were of importance to me.
When Steve responded, his answers to my questions were written in a chastising manner and sounded as if I were his child and he was reprimanding me. He assumed that I hadn't read anything on his site nor had I performed any research prior to putting down a deposit. I inquired about an incident that someone else gave a review on and it seems as if he exploded at the mention of the incident and deemed me not confident in my decision to put down a deposit.
This is by far one of the worst experiences that I have had with any breeder. I have owned several dogs, and this is the first time in which I have had a breeder refund my money for simply asking questions. Purchasing a puppy is a substantial investment so there shouldn't be any frustrations when customers have inquiries.
I refuse to spend my money with a breeder who isn't personable and assumes that all customers are the same. He did me a favor by refunding my money, there is no way that I can fathom purchasing from someone who has an ego so large that they are infuriated with a customer requesting assistance and reassurance that they are making the best decision.

You must be really disturbed that I took it upon myself to refund your deposit and drop your name from our waiting list. It's obvious you retaliated by posting your anger here. Truth is, most people would respect the fact that I denied your deposit submission due to your confusion and lack of initiative to read the literature I provided you time and time again. I have retained your emails and thought about attaching them here for others to see the repetitive questions you asked in which I took the time to answer in great detail even though all this information is clearly depicted on our website but you somehow didn't wish to read it. After 3 emails with so much confusion and your decision to ignore my advice to call me with any questions or concerns I simply decided you needed further time to conduct proper research. I realize you're mad that I refunded your deposit for a future puppy and removed you from our waiting list but you also know I said you could rejoin our waiting list once you gained all the information you needed to make an intelligent decision on a puppy. Please realize that I need to feel comfortable with the future owners that take possession of the puppies we raise hold dearly to our hearts. You might be used to dealing with breeders very eager to sell their puppies and got a wakeup call when you realized I'm not struggling to sell our puppies and it's YOU that needs to influence me that you're a good fit for one of our puppies. You certainly failed to provide me with any sort of confidence thus I returned your deposit. Now your mad and bitter and find it warranted to complain about it. That's pathetic.
My door remains open for any and all to come visit with us here and spend time with our beloved Bull Terriers. Those that have taken the time to visit are quick to know my heart and passion with the Bull Terrier breed. There will be others that will feel the need to lash out and leave libel comments when I deny them the opportunity to purchase a puppy but I won't lose any sleep over it and if you don't like the way I speak to you I suggest you grow up and take stock of yourself like a big girl. You didn't get your way and now you're having a melt down because of it. Instead of wasting time complaining about me please use the literature I provided you on how to find reputable breeders. I encourage you to speak with breeders cordially and get it out of your head that they owe you anything when in reality it's YOU that's needs to be making a good impression on them so they have a sense that you're a good fit for ownership on one of their puppies.

This breeders goes around the internet bashing other breeders! He has forum ( strictly bull terriers ) related to his website that he uses to put other people down! The above is just the beginning of his unprofessionalism he continues to sell dogs and restrict people's paperwork by limiting it and/or demanding to be listed as co-owner on his AKC registry...
Puppy mill
This breeder is a puppy farm. He will promise you a champion bred dog with champion qualities but you wont get that all. This is a breeder who has been breeding for over 10+ years and done nothing other than produce litter after litter of the most sub quality dogs you can imagine. Don't purchase a puppy from someone who breeds with no regard to the breed standard or no hopes for their puppies to be exceptional examples of the breed. Don't purchase a puppy from someone who mass produces dog's because it only insures that they did not do their best to take the breed further. Stick clear of bulliesofnc for a bull terrier puppy...

karen23 - There's no such thing as "owning 50% of people's paperwork." The reason you mention it is because this is Kayla's issue. Please stop posing as some new person Kayla. I'm getting tired of dealing with backyard breeders and puppymills disgruntle because reputable breeders are unwilling to sell them a puppy due to their unethical and irresponsible breeding practices. Call any "Reputable" Bull Terrier in the nation and ask them if they are willing to sell one of their puppy's with "Full Registration" without co-ownership and see how long they entertain your ignorance. The reason YOU (Dino Bull Terriers) or any other puppymill does not own a Bull Terrier from pedigree of merit is because those breeders would never male the mistake of selling you puppy to breed inappropriately which would compromise their bloodline, damage the future quality of the breed, and provide you with the ability to continue pumping out puppies for no other reason than financial gain. So if you're mad that Bullies of NC or any other reputable breeder prevents you from using quality bloodlines for your unethical breeding practices than I guess you are left with no other choice except to complain about it. But let's face it, the only reason there are complaints about Bullies of NC on this website is because I refuse to sell out to puppymills and irresponsible backyard breeders and when there is corruption noted within the breeder I'm not shy about exploiting them as a plaque to the Bull Terrier community.

What's sad is that all complaints towards Bullies of NC are coming from the same IP Address which is pinpointed right at Kayla's residence from Dino Bull Terriers.
Bullies of NC requires no introduction and are reputation has been well known and praised for 20+ years. No backyard breeder is going to be able to tarnish that no matter how many times they post on this webpage which allows libel comments without any form of validation.
Over the course of 2 weeks you have now commented on this post nearly 15 times and you've used separate account names to do so in hopes of making it sound as if there are others with ill feelings towards us. You've went as far as to post personal photos of me and my wife on this page as a malicious attempt to slander us. You question my integrity when you have no concept of what integrity is and you have only made up fictitious things about in hopes of casting a negative opinion about us to others. Kayla you need help. Only the small minded, naive, uneducated, and ignorant people would be fooled by all the negative comments you have left on this page about Bullies of NC.

Amazes me you'd crop a discussion you found while visiting our Forum looking hard for any sentence you could find that makes me look like we are slandering a breeder. I have no pitty on breeders like yourself who have no concern about the health, temperament, and quality of what you produce. This is why Dino Bull Terriers has developed the ill reputation it has and if that upsets you blame yourself.
What you failed to do is provide people the actual link that you got your screen capture from which shows the topic of discussion regarding the breeder selling a poor quality, Blue eyed Bull Terrier with genetic faults. It's these type breeders which corrupt the integrity of the breed. They are backyard breeders just like yourself Kayla and when people verify the link I provided below not only will they agree with the assessment I provided but they will once again be convinced YOU (Dino Bull Terriers) are a very nasty person who lacks integrity and is commenting on this post with bogus information. The more you write, the more people will validate your malicious intent. YOU are your worst enemy.

It's disappointing when other breeders find it appropriate to provide us with bad reviews when they didn't get their way. No, you're not going to receive a puppy from us with "Full" registration without there being a co-ownership contract. Any responsible breeder would never do such a thing and if this bothers you, I suggest you educate yourself as to the reasons for this. Your feeble attempt to belittle our reputation we have earned over 30 years is pathetic. We certainly aren't trying to make backyard breeders happy by entertaining their ambitions to breed irresponsibly with our bloodline that we have cherished and protected for over 2 decades. If our dedication to the breed and pride to protect the future welfare of the breed bothers you, by all means, write your scornful reviews, cry to others, and try you best to fool others into thinking we are corrupt in some way, shape, or form. The integrity of our bloodline is far too important to us than satisfying irresponsible breeders with their pursuit to jeopardize what we've created for the last 30 years.
