i made a claim for personal Injury Protection while I was visiting relatives in upstate NY and i was involved in an accident due to the winter road conditions which I am not familiar with. They denied the claim base on the fact that : I failed to garage my car for 10 months in the address I stated at the time of application...
?and then they accused me of misrepresentation and false statements...therefore, what is the part that says that state I have the freedom to use my vehicle to go out of the state of Florida and visits or do errands or just take vacations ! Do I have to ask for their authorization even if is an emergency, Do I have to pray God nothing happens so, and I am TEXTUALLY citing: "This failure of your part to the garaging of your vehicle was materially prejudicial to INFINITY INSURANCY COMPANY"
i am feeling extremely disappointed with the way our system is working, allowing these predatory companies to flourish without any serious investigation from the entities in charge of watch these business and their fraudulent practices. Only simple and hard working, honest citizen like me united with others citizen can made possible to change this practices using all the legal ways and entities to take this companies like INFINITY INSURANCE COMPANY out the market.
Obviously they do NOT want to pay based in this illegal accommodation of it policy.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
