Last year I submitted some charges they denied but paid for. They told me because they were from a previous year they could not pay. I didn't know this because I had previously had a HSA card and they didn't mind.
After having 600$ frozen on my card I tried to pay them back but because I had to pay them back through PayPal I got irry. I did ask them to send me the link to pay them back and never for it. I never paid it back and this lost 600$ on my card.
Fast forward a year, my ex husband continues with American benefits FSA and our daughter needed counseling services which are covered under medical for blue cross blue shield. However th FSA card won't pay. Again. Worthless. I am so tired or needing to is this card and being denied.
The HSA companies I have used before have been wonderful but this American benefits is terrible. Hate is not a strong enough word. I actually don't know what good they are for but taking money. They don't like to pay it back out.
What out for them. And the processes for payback will take half a day. It's just don't worth it. Hate

After paying the required cash ($299.00) I decided to do some checking, and came across some complaints on another website. So I called them again to ask more specific questions, and got nothing! No gaurentees, (after giving one when I called to pay), could not tell me if I would get a grant (which they specifically offered) or a loan that I'd have to pay back. So I asked for a refund. They could not (or would not) simply put the monies back into my account, but they would be happy to send me a check in the mail, but when I asked how long that would take, I was told "a few days". So I guess I will have to wait and see if they actually will pay me back, or if I have been a victim of yet another scam! Will keep this site posted.
