I purchased a car on June 26th and chose Addition Financial as the loan provider. They assured me that I would receive payment details by July 15th. However, when that date arrived, I had not received any information regarding my payments. Concerned, I visited the Addition Financial office on July 15th to inquire about the delay. They informed me that the necessary documents were on their way. Unfortunately, today is July 31st, and I still haven't received any payment information. Despite visiting their office twice and making multiple phone calls, I have been unable to obtain the necessary details. It is frustrating that Addition Financial refuses to send me the information I need. With my payment due in just over a week, I am left in the dark about where to send it or what my account number is. It is essential for me to have this information so that I can make a payment by mail, as Addition Financial does not offer online payment options.

The nature of this dispute involves the sudden closure of my secure credit card and checking account without any prior notice or warning. Additionally, my online banking access was restricted, preventing me from viewing any documentation regarding the pending closure. I received a letter from Additional Financial dated May 30, informing me that my credit card was over the limit by $18. It is important to note that I have never had a late payment and have always paid at least the minimum due on time, except for one cycle. The negative balance in my checking account occurred when we opened an account with another credit union and experienced delays in the migration process. As a result, several drafts went through, causing the negative balance. Unfortunately, the merchants responsible for these drafts took a significant amount of time to rectify the error and have refused to refund any fees that I am being charged. On June 4, I spoke with a collection agent named "***" from Additional Financial, who informed me that the credit card had been closed.

The Addition Financial Board members couldn't care less about accountability, as they voted in the option to outsource customer accounts to other countries that have call centers. This institution has a list of board members who are purposely unreachable and have no desire to exercise any resolve when it comes to measuring and evaluating valid customers' complaints. How could they? They don't respond even to their emails. Their function is to sit in a chair and collect paychecks with no thought for the reason why they were elected to their positions. They will take notice when the complaints start piling in on social media, and when members start to remove themselves from the money mill, they call a bank. Eventually, even their apathy will cost them.
The only exceptional feature about this bank is how callous and indifferent they are in handling customer service complaints. This bank as a whole has no objective in resolving any customer mistreatment concerns. Nor do they care about each customer's time and how it is wasted due to their goals of saving money by not staffing each teller station. Teller service is scarce because management purposely decreases the number of tellers at each station, regardless of how limited a member's time to bank is. They have the motto that "where every member counts" at each spiel, but their actions reflect otherwise. Their contact center leaves a lot to be desired, as when you hear the message from the AI system stating," We value your time," it is nothing more than just a metaphor for let's waste your time as we outsource your account information to other countries. Truthfully, their call center sets the tone for a poor attitude and a lack of appreciation for customers as a value system. The management has absolutely no interest in training their tellers or call center agents on quality interaction, orientation, or how advocacy toward their members matters. I find no authenticity of empathy in their voice when they say they are sorry for the mistreatment of a customer by one of their agents. This attitude of indifference is not uncommon among their staff. I've been a member of this establishment since 1988. One would think this patronage would matter to them, but it doesn't. I was an active member when they transitioned from Teachers FCU to Educators FCU, to Addition Financial, and I have witnessed a steady decline in quality service. I would not recommend this banking institution to any potential or perennial members, as this establishment has lost touch with the customers being reason they are able to operate today. They are nonchalant about how a customer is violated by their indifference in attitude when a valid and ongoing complaint is addressed to them, and frankly, I plan on transferring my banking to another institution as soon as the details are worked out. Profits without services are their bottom line.
