Accent Hardwood Flooring

Andrew Gaudyn promised to install the floors well, but unfortunately did not. He put the floor boards in different directions. He put t-moulds / transitions between rooms, which were unnecessary. Now the t-moulds have broke and fallen off, leaving my expensive brand new floor looking terrible within only 4 months time. He also covered a vent in my master bedroom, which now does not cool my sleeping room correctly while I am pregnant. He is too busy to fix the mistakes he made and never returns my calls or emails. Totally unsatisfied.

We purchased a hardwood floor from Accent Hardwood Flooring in Middle Island NY 11953. The salesman indicated that we were buying the last of 20 boxes in their warehouse of Shaw (manufacturer), 3.25" width, Brazilian Cherry flooring with UV protection and 7 coats of urethane. We had our installer pickup the flooring that was put aside for us at the vendors location. After the installer finished the floor we found out the flooring was not the product we paid for. It was nature industries (manufacturer), 3.75" Brazilian Cherry with no UV protection and only 6 urethane coats. My wife contacted the salesman and he indicated that he substituted this product without our knowledge. The substitute flooring sells for at least $4 per square foot less than the Shaw flooring. The owner, Larry Kogel has not returned my calls.
