After trying to acquire a reasonable quote and a quick timeline to fix an ongoing leak on my mother's home we came across Stellar Roofing. They live up to their name and their five-star rating. Their sales rep Dan was very courteous and polite, and they arrived on the date agreed upon and had the fix complete within a couple of hours. Their roofing technician Jerry was very knowledgable with over 12 years of experience. He was respectful of my elderly mothers' questions and immediately cleaned up the site well. His demeanor was professional but friendly. He was cooperative to adjust the design of the repair to meet my requests. As an architect with over 30 years experience, I would recommend him and the company to any of my residential clients. Thanks for a job well done!

We had a complete tear off roof completed this spring. The work was done in two days and looks great. However the headache came with contacting the company after the work was completed, and why we are not giving a full rating. Since we had our roof done when there was still snow cover on the ground, we were told Stellar would come back to roll for nails once the snow melted. It's now July and no one has returned even after reaching out several times to the company. Our neighbors also had nails fall on their property, and this has been unresolved. It seems once our payment (and a large one at that) was received we were promptly forgot about for new business. It's disappointing when Stellar promotes their 5-star work and great customer service. We went with them for their high quality work and supplies, but were left with concerns unanswered.

We had Stellar come to do gutters at our 1878 city rental and they looked amazing. Speaking with the staff, I learned they also do siding. We immediately contracted Stellar to remove the stucco on our lake house and side it. To say the transformation was stunning, is an understatement. I could not imagine how much cleaner and stylish this would look. The house was totally transformed from a worn down and degraded exterior to a classic and gorgeous finish. This project was completed February in the snowiest and coldest of temperatures and the team was fast, efficient, professional, and courteous. Never a complaint of tearing out the stucco and metal mesh. Of all the house projects we have hired in 35 years, hands down this is the best yet. I can't recommend them high enough! The entire experience with Stellar Roofing was top notch from beginning to end, Dan did a great job in explaining all the details/specifics when getting my estimate for the roofing/gutter work that was going to be done. Once I decided to go with the job Dan and Phil worked closely with me to make sure every detail was addressed before proceeding since I had specified a custom color for the job. On the day of the roofing job the crew did FANTASTIC work. Everything was completed in 1 day. And the cleanup after the job was exquisite! Not a piece of debris or a loose nail could be found anywhere in my yard! Unbelievable! And then 2 days after the roofing job was completed the gutters were installed in about 2-3 hours, Another FANTASTIC JOB! The two guys worked almost the entire time in the rain and did an outstanding job. With all the work now completed it looks like I have a newly built house! Great job by everyone involved!

Wow what a great experience! We had Norm as our salesman. He was polite and honest and answered all our questions. He helped us in our decision process. No high pressure sales pitch. We chose the *** shingles in Brownstone. Our project manager was Rick he got us on the install schedule within 2 weeks of signing contract. Our new roof was installed on June 22nd. The install crew was awesome. They covered all our landscaping with tarps. These guys attacked that roof like no tomorrow! Everyone knew what to do and did it well. They were polite and friendly and answered any concerns I had. When they were finished you would never have known they were there. Every scrap of paper, plastic, shingle and nail was picked up. Rick came back to do our final inspection. He also was very nice to work with. The girls in the office were polite and helpful the two times I called. Great experience and wonderful people. What an easy process they make it. I highly recommend Stellar Roofing!

I contacted 5 different roofing companies. 4 of them just came by, look around my roof, take pictures and told me they are going to send me estimates. But Stellar Roofing (Matt Jr.) gave the proper presentation on different types of shingles options they offer and their strength and weaknesses, which I am going to be brave and accept that I was not fully aware of because I was changing the roof for the first time. He was very professional and patient to wait on me for over a month because other companies were taking awfully long time to give me their estimates. Stellar Roofing were affordable, punctual and willing to back their work with longer warranties than other roofing companies. They were also very accommodating to honor my multiple postponement of the replacement appointment. Roofers were also very efficient and professional because they finished the job in a single day and not even a single nail and debris was left behind. I strongly recommend Stellar Roofing for roof replacement.

Stellar Roofing did a full tear off replacement of the roof on our home. We were very satisfied with the workmanship of the project, but even more so with the customer service that we received from Matthew, Phil and the team. We did have a minor issue with some flower beds that were accidentally damaged, but Stellar immediately made it right by giving us a discount to cover the cost of repair. But the biggest testament to their customer service happened 3 days after the installation. We received record setting heavy rains for the whole day on Saturday and suddenly a water stain appeared on a ceiling. I called Stellar to let them know, and within 30 minutes, they were on my roof looking for any possible leaks. I had the project manager, and also the owner company, Matthew, in my house, on a weekend, inspecting every inch of the roof and the attics for hours to isolate where any water could have come in. The end result was the roof was perfect, but I had a plumbing issue in the ceiling that just happened to occur that day. That level of customer service earned them a 5 star rating.

Where to start. I hired Stellar to do the roof on my house and that's about where the good part of this review ends. when the job was "finished" there was no wall to roof flashing, roofing nails sticking out where they shouldn't be, the gutter was hanging a foot off from the garage. they tried to use flashing to repair one of the corners where they had broken a piece of siding. they did send a service tech out to fix these problems as best they could, but some things are harder/impossible unless they were to tear some things up. during the job I was unable to speak with the crew due to the language barrier. it seemed like the tactic for them is to send the cheapest labor they can to do a job the send a repair person behind them to clean up the mess. the salesperson JD was nice to me. in addition, they do their financing through Mosaic which you just move from one nightmare to another. regardless of the repair work that was done you shouldn't have the name Stellar if you can't get it right the first time. I am now stuck with a 25-thousand-dollar headache. Every day I pull into my driveway I am reminded of this

The roof and gutters are good quality. We are happy with the final product overall. We did have a few hiccups with the company as far as communication. My father in law ended up having to oversee the project to make sure things went smoothly while my husband and I were at work, as we could not promptly answer our phones if a decision had to be made. If it wasn't for him, they most likely would have done a complete tear off without our consent. We had tried to reach out on a couple of occasions to the company and the foreman of the job to rectify any issues but would not get prompt responses. We got charged for materials we didn't even use or need. We did tell them to come take the materials and to not charge us since it was not used. We were told they were unable to deduct it from the final amount because they always order extra as a "just in case it's needed" precaution. There was some damage done to our ceiling that was not repaired by the company. It's unfortunate that the lack of communication and ceiling damage is really the deciding factor of this review. If they put the quality and care that they put into the roof into customer service this review would have been 5 stars easily.

My roof was 28 years old and needed to be replaced. I solicited prices from several contractors. I was a bit surprised at the difference in quotes. It made me wonder what was being left out of the job on some of the quotes I received. A roof replacement is something in which you are putting a lot of trust in a contractor to do properly. There are many hidden things, like flashing and underlayment, that must be done properly to do a good job. I finally chose Stellar for the project, and I am glad I did. The job they did was fantastic, and they worked very quickly - they actually finished the work in one day. Workers were polite and courteous. The clean up of the job site was fantastic - you couldn't tell anyone was there after they were done. Many photos were taken by the roofers as the job progressed, showing the care they were taking to provide ice shield and flashing in all the right places, and showing problem areas that needed special attention. These photos are made available to the customer for their records, which I really appreciated. The shingles and other roofing materials they use are the best available, and are a cut-above what most roofing contractors offer. Everyone from the office personnel to the workers on the jobsite were all polite and informative. I am very pleased with the work they did and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for roof repair or replacement.

We suffered internal damage to our house due to the existence of two ice dams. The representative of Stellar Roofing was in our home late in the afternoon telling us about his company when part of the ceiling in our bedroom fell. James E (the Stellar representative) immediately called his boss and told him we needed immediate help. His boss told us he would have a man come to our house the next day and chip the ice dams off our roof even if we didn't sign a contract with them to replace our roof. Rick came and chipped the ice off our roof the next day. We signed a contract with them on Thursday. We opted not to have the roofing replaced on our Breezeway or garage. On the following Monday we had 5 men on our roof at 7:30 in the morning. We were told they never apply shingles over an existing roof; they always remove the old shingles first. This turned out to be a really good thing in our case, since they found a hole in our roof, which had been covered by shingles! They competed the work on the roof the following day. Whenever we asked a question of any of the workmen, the man we asked knew the answer. He didn't have to find someone else to answer the question. We were told all the workers were members of an extended family. When they arrived earlier than I got up on Tuesday, I went our and told one of the men I would need to get out, and he asked when I would need to leave. I said “9 o'clock," and he told me just to let them know when I was ready to leave and they would move their truck. This is an example of how accommodating they were. The roof comes with a 20-year guarantee, which covers materials and workmanship. The guarantee can be transferred to new owners twice. This provides us with a valuable asset to pass on when and if we decide to leave this location. Finally I should say they cleaned virtually everything up, and promised to come back in the spring with a large magnet to finish the cleanup.

Just wanted to take a minute to say a big “Thank you" to Stellar Roofing. We had 3 previous well-known roofing companies attempt to work with us and our insurance to get the roof covered based on a windstorm that we had about 2 years. The first company was only able to get $1000 covered by the insurance company, the 2nd company was able to get an additional $1000 and the 3rd company never returned our phone calls after the insurance company denied them additional funding. Enter Matthew H and Kevin C from Stellar Roofing. They promised to work with us and the insurance company and not give up until they were able to get the roof covered. I know Matthew and Kevin did a lot of behind the scenes work with the insurance company between multiple phone calls, emails, pictures, and even meeting with the insurance inspector. They provided detailed reports, drone footage, and even video evidence of the damage. When all was said and done, they were able to get the insurance company to provide additional funding that covered the majority of the roof with very little out of pocket from us. Matthew came back to us on a Thursday with the good news and helped us pick out the roofing color. By the following Tuesday their crew was here working on the roof. They were able to tear off and replace the entire roof within 3 days. The crew was fast and efficient and great about cleaning things up and even made several trips around the house to ensure that all the debris and nails had been cleared. Before they left the foreman walked through and made sure I was happy with the work. The next day Kevin stopped in to make sure that everything went smoothly and picked up the left-over supplies. The following day Matthew stopped in and made sure that everything went well. He also had to admire the color of the roof, it's merlot and turned out perfectly with our house. They were in constant contact with us and even when we texted them during the process they were quick to get back to us. Stellar Roofing did such an amazing job that several neighbors were so impressed that they have inquired about working with them as well. Thank you again Stellar Roofing, I can't say enough wonderful things about this company and the people that represent this business.
