I was a Vodafone customer from 2023 to 2025, and I am still receiving emails from them today about an 'unrevised bill'.
Every month since September 2025, I have received this email, and each month I rang customer service, was told I would not receive an email again, and then continued to receive emails. In January, a letter was sent to my old address about this bill and I called customer service once again, where was finally told I was owed money by Vodafone and was refunded. I thought this would be the end of the issue, but again I continued to receive emails for months.
I eventually went to the Vodafone shop where I was told Vodafone owed me money once again. I rang the customer service team who then agreed to refund me the money which never came. I rang customer service again asking where the refund was and they told me that I am not owed a refund and the bill was in relation to my very first payment with Vodafone and there was nothing to be done. They said they would ring me back on Saturday to confirm this, which they never did.
I have now had to block Vodafone from my emails as despite calling them each month for 7 months asking them to stop contacting me, they continue to do so. I have never been so disappointed and frustrated at customer service until my dealings with Vodafone. Every time I rang I spoke to a different person who I had to re-explain the issue with, be on hold with as they spoke to their team about the problem, and then get told that there is no issue and that there will be no more emails. I do not want Vodafone to have my personal data but it has been impossible to request this.
Desired outcome: I would like Vodafone to stop contacting me and to have my personal data deleted immediately
