Vital Records Online review: The worst customer "service" ever!

All I needed was a death certificate from the state of Texas. Seems simple enough, yes?
My interaction with VRO started out ok. But several days after my notary appointment, every time I logged into my account I saw the same status for my papers: "under review."
I started to go into great detail about my subsequent interactions with them, but it seems better to just summarize the negative highlights:
1. Delay, after delay
2. Unhelpful people on "chat" - more excuses than resolutions
3. Multiple phone calls to their office with LONG wait times that never produced one conversation. I always would jut hang up
4. Emails sent by me that always seemed to take 2 days to get a response
5. As well as #2 above I also had a couple people just disconnect me, when I apparently asked a tough question: "why haven't my papers left your office yet?"

Bottom line:
I made a very bad choice in VRO.
I bought their marketing hype and WAY OVERPAID, including for "expedited service." Ha! It became expedited ignor-ment!
It's now 2 weeks and 2 days past my notary completion, and the papers still sit in the "under review" heading.
