I purchased a bag through their platform via direct shipping. I had authenticity doubts so Vestiaire sent me a label to ship the bag to their facility. They confirmed it was genuine and I requested it be returned.
It arrived with the chain handle completely broken off. The sealed packaging was undamaged. An independent witness was present when I opened the box. The Vestiaire inspection tag was loose inside the box (not on the bag) and stamped "REJECTED" — something they never told me. They also found mold inside the bag and didn't inform me.
Vestiaire claims CCTV shows the handle was fine when packed but cannot explain how it broke inside a sealed, undamaged box. If the handle was intact, the tag would still be attached. They offered me a 10% discount voucher as "goodwill."
I have filed formal complaints with consumer protection authorities. Ref #[protected].
