I ordered $5,000 taken out of my IRA account the evening of 4/1/26. Vanguard executed this request at 6:50 a.m. on 4/2/26 but they can not get the money into my brokerage account until Monday 4/6/26 and then it will be another day before I can get it into my Stanford Federal Credit Union Checking account. This is totally unacceptable. The BRICS nations now have a system that can process transactions instantly! In addition, Vanguard is closed on Good Friday on April 3 causing even more delay. I was in the labor force for 52 years and I never got off Good Friday and 30 percent of Americans are not even Christians.

Claimed loss: $850

Desired outcome: Pay the $850 in late fees on my property taxes because of the stupid delay on my getting my money.
