Hi,
My name is Cheryl Reed, and I am a USAA member using an iPhone 8 Plus, which is limited to iOS 16.7.15. The recent USAA app update now requires iOS 18, which my device cannot install. Because of this, I am unable to access the USAA mobile app at all.
Apple normally allows users to download the last compatible version of an app, but this only works if the app developer keeps older builds available. Since USAA removed older versions, I am now locked out of mobile banking despite being a long‑time member.
I am requesting that USAA:
Restore access to the last iOS‑16‑compatible version of the app, or
Provide an alternative method for mobile access for members with older devices.
This situation creates an unnecessary hardship and prevents me from managing my accounts. Please advise on how USAA plans to address this issue.
