Dollar General

😡😡😡😡😡Went to the Southside Dollar General. When I got to the checkout there was only a young man at the middle register and a woman with children. No one to check out at first register so I went to the 2nd. Then the two employees were talking behind the register.

I saw it said “Card Only” & “no alcohol or tobacco at this register.” It did NOT say “Self Checkout”. If it had I would have moved.

I asked the girl if she could help me. She was rude and said “You have to do it yourself”. I said I had never done it and did not know how. She said here’s is the scanner.

I was having a leg spasm and could only stand by holding the basket with one hand.

I told her it did not say that it only said Card Only. I had no idea.

She then kept saying “Well what do you want me to do?” In the same rude tone.

She did NOT say “you can come down here and I will check you out” OR “let me help you.”

I managed to scan it all and had my card in the machine and she said “what should I have done for you?”

I was so angry and my legs were giving out by then I said “not be such a b”. And she came and took the groceries that I had scanned away and had my card in the reader.

What happened to CUSTOMER SERVICE?!

If I had ever treated a customer like that, especially an older woman alone, I would have been fired on the spot!
