Las Vegas Call Center Former Employee: This company treats employees like s***!
Derive what you will from my experience.
I needed to resign my customer service position in financial
services so I gave 2-week notice to my team lead. She later told me that since
I had given proper notice, Ameriprise was offering to release me from the 2
week fulfillment period, saying I could leave anytime and it would not affect
my good standing. I accepted the offer to leave early, finished the week on her
approval and left that Friday.
Several months later I applied for a more lucrative sales
position with the company. After passing the assessments, I was eventually told
that I was not eligible for rehire because my team lead submitted a report
saying I had NOT given 2 week notice.
I filed a complaint with HR who claimed they conducted an
investigation in which my former team lead was also verbally claiming I had not
given notice and so it was “determined†I had not given
notice. Case Closed! I was never
questioned or given the opportunity to refute my team lead’s claim during that
‘investigationâ€. They thanked me for
bringing my “concern“ to their
attention and wished me luck in future endeavors. LOL! What a sham!
Protect yourself if you choose to deal with this company...GET
IT IN WRITING!
They should change their name to Ameri-Lies Financial.
