Meijer

WE shopped today Oct 17,2023 at Meijer store on Columbia Ave Battle Creek, Michigan.

When we were ready to check out with a cart full of groceries there was only one cashier working. There were 3 people ahead of us waiting, my husband went to the self-serve checkouts and asked if they could have someone open us another lane as there were people behind us asking us if there was only one lane open.

The lady that was behind us went to service desk and asked also. Finally, a lady from electronics came up and opened a lane.

This isn't the first time this has happened at this store, but this is the first time I have complained about it. Not everyone wants to use self-serve checkouts.
