Instacart

I am a 79 years old, under mandatory home confinement due to Covid 19. I placed order with Instacart on 3/30/20 for groceries to be shopped at the Germantown, MD Wegmans. Instacart delivered on 4/1. They charged $130.64 before tax, where the receipt from Wegmans shows $89.80. I discovered their scam because the shopper left the Wegmans receipt within the items.
Of course, in addition to the groceries, Instacart charged a delivery fee ($3.99) and a service fee (6.53)
I will inform Wegmans and file a claim with the bank.
Instacart should be ashamed to take advantage of customers unable to do their shopping by themselves during the Covid crisis.in my case their overcharge is +69%!
A refund of the excess charge is a must.
