Big Lots - Returning items

I purchased gifts with my card and isn't able to find the recycle but when purchased they scanned my phone for my rewards card is it possible they look it up that way to return my items I have all the tags and nothings been opened. And it shows on my card the date and amount from my in store purchase, the reason for my return is my mother gotten the same gifts I purchase for my girls

Desired outcome: The lady was rude i spoke with in the store yesterday
