Shoney's North America review: Gross and cold and greasy

SENIORS take notice.. crossville location.  we seniors went in yesterday about 5:20  - breakfast side of things COLD. a couple bacon crumbles in maybe 1/2 inch grease - COLD potatoes - COLD sausage drying out - COLD scrambled eggs - COLD 'french' toast -sausage gravy ok enough.   biscuits cold and some getting hard from sitting there - finally those we finally refreshed with new ones dumped in after close to an hour after we got there.   we went to other side..  cold mac n cheese - maybe 6 pieces cold fried chicken also sitting in grease. I gave up and had salad instead. they finally refreshed the fried fish.  soups the cheese one was about dried out to nothing skimmed over top on the potato soup.  hubby had some chicken fish as the baked chicken was full up.  worst experience ever in a shoneys.  waitress young and polite friendly gal.  when asked about the bar she stated they put out fresh food at 4:00 ?  really?  we gave up about 6:15  when checking out and mentioning the sad state of the food - young gal stated '' they did just put out more bacon''...  again nice young gal kept saying sorry - that doesn't fix the past over an hour waiting and hoping.
