Popeyes

After working 12 hour shifts for 8 days, I visited Popeyes drive thru, located at 1678 Mountain Industrial Blvd Stone Mountain/Tucker GA 30083/4, at approximately 1715, Thursday, 10/11/2023.

I ordered a family meal using a coupon code.

At the window, the manger, wearing glasses and had gray in his beard, approximately 190 lbs and late fifties, took my card and set it by the card machine and rushed to help a worker in the kitchen.

He returned with my food and handed it to me improperly as I almost dropped it while he hurried off.

I enjoyed the meal at home.

At approximately 0100, my bank alerted my phone that a charge of $220.17 was charged at Walgreens, located at 615 Piedmont Avenue Atlanta.

I did not see the alert at that time since I was asleep, but saw it when I arrived at work at 0700.

I went to my Bank app and it reflected 4 pending charges.

One was for $24.83 at Popeyes.

Second was $28.50 at Popeyes !

Third was $25.92 at QT, located at

Fourth was $220.17 at Walgreens.

I immediately closed my card and reported the theft/fraud.

At approximately 1000, I called Popeyes. An island accented male answered. I asked his name and he told me his name was Henry.

I told him what happened. I asked for the name of the manager who worked the previous night of the 12th. He told me he couldn’t give me his name. I told Henry, “you gave me your name”. He again said he couldn’t give the other manger’s name but I could call him at noon when he comes in. I was a bit angry at the lack of information.

I did not call at noon since that’s the lunch rush. I called at approximately 1430. A manager answered. I asked him if Henry told him I called and why. He said yes. I asked his name. He told me it was Henry. I replied, “you’re not Henry. Henry has an accent. He paused then said there’s two Henry’s. I told him that was a weird coincidence.

He refused to give me the corporate phone number or who owns that franchised store.

(I researched Popeyes earlier and there isn’t a phone number listed anywhere online.

I also found that Popeyes is owned by rbi, a company in Ontario whose CEO is middle eastern and lives in DuBai)

Henry asked for the amounts of my charges and that he could refund the three twenty something amounts but the $220.17 would be a little while.

What ? I asked, my bank will take care of it and it’s not about the money, it’s about thieves and criminals stealing from Popeyes’ patrons.

I then asked Henry

“What is Popeyes procedure to find the employee who stole my card? I added, “or it could have been you since you had my card last.”

He refused to tell me, but took my name and cell to stay in touch.

I told him, please do because although law enforcement will do nothing, I will involve them and have a report and take this as far as I can and I will not let this go.

I am a regular customer of that Popeyes location and now I no longer feel safe patronizing that location since active thieves and criminals are employed there.

He had to get off the phone. I let him.

I will visit and call “Henry” as soon as I’m able since I am currently working 12/7.

I will continue my research to gain more information.

Oct 11th at the Popeyes in McComb Ms ordered in Drive Thru and had to wait over 5 minutes to be told to drive forward & wait at the front of the building, which didn’t bother me it’s not unusual but I set there for about 25 minutes (I didn’t get out ithere was a light shower and having recently had back surgery I didn’t want to chance a slip on the sidewalk. When the order got there the drink had been left out and the employee acted like she didn’t care about getting it for me About 5 o 6 minutes later she made it back. I don’t like to complain but this isn’t the 1st time and somehow it feels like there may be a reverse or repay situation. I’ve been as cordial & nice as possible but it seems that’s not enough. Really this is my 1st time to air a complaint but enough is enough. I’m a Health Care Professional and I treat every one equally. Sorry to rant on but I’ve just had enough there and won’t be back & possibly any Popeyes. Oh I’m not the only person to notice this attitude there. Sorry Again, C [censored]

restaurant located off Colfax 11097 came in and ordered a family meal with two sides the fries were cold the mac and cheese however was amazing the 12 piece family meal that i paid for only had 10 pieces of chicken in the box and it was not hot and fresh as i would have liked it i would like the chicken and hot fries replaced or a coupon of equal value for the price i paid with a unsatisfactory meal

Popeyes # 11713 10/07/2023 gave order at 4:08pm. Got order at 4:34pm. Order number 6. They are ignoring the drive through and costumers as they came in and wait. Manager is hiding in the back not helping get orders out/taking orders. They are standing around doing nothing. Workers around the food are playing with their hair over the food. This is unexceptable. I suggest better training and maybe better management.

I went to Popeyes about 2 months ago and my food and service was terrible. I ordered for 2 meals which was prepared incorrectly and food was old. I contacted the store with no resolution. I contacted corporate and I was told I would receive a gift card in the amount of my order and I never received it. I reached out again and was told to download the app and a credit for 2 meals would post there that never happened. I don't have 25.00 dollars to waste on terrible service or food.

At the Alpine Ave - Grand Rapids Michigan

On Tuesday 10.3.23 about 5:30 pm I went through the drive-thru and ordered a 3-piece tender meal. The gal taking my order was very patient as the menu had changed since my last visit. When I arrived home 25 minutes later I had three pieces of dark meat. This shop is the only one around and occasionally I have to have some spicy fried chicken. But more often that not I am disappointed either in the food or the service. Also, they never give receipts.

Hello, Today, October 2, 2023, I purchased a 5 can dine at the Fairview Heights, Illinois location.

When I got home and opened the box I just stood there trying to figure out what I got. The breast looked fine and the 2 legs were small but then I saw what looked like a chicken nugget. No, to my surprise it was the thigh. It was so small and the wings were identified only because they looked like wings but they were tiny also. Why is this location selling such small chicken parts? You need to talk with your supplier. You are ripping off your customers with these small chicken parts that look like nuggets. Like I said in the beginning the breast is still a nice size but the rest is unbelievably disappointing. Thank you for your time. Oh yeah, taking it back to the location was out of the question because I live 46 miles away. My treat when I go to this location is getting Popeyes chicken BUT?

An Ubereats order was placed on 9.27.2023 for the Popeyes Big Sandwich Bundle Family Meal. During this time Popeyes had an advertisement for their Ghost Pepper wings. If a $15 dollar or greater order was placed then, the customer receives free Ghost Pepper wings. I received everything in the Big Sandwich Bundle but, the Ghost Pepper wings were not in the bag. I am asking for this promotion to be honored, please.
