During a week, I, an elderly grandmother, tried to make a Zelle transfer to my son who is a co-owner of my account. Firstly, M&T Bank blocked any Zelle transfer attempt. After my call to their fraud department, they blocked my account. Of course, it was my "pleasure" to go to the local branch and express how happy I am to do business with M&T Bank. My advice is, do not call and ask for help; you'll be waiting for more than 30 minutes, and the people on the phone are unable to offer any assistance other than blocking your account. Now, I am considering switching my bank.
