We asked for an inspection and estimate on encapsulating our 26 x 48 mobile home. The estimate return at $19,000 and we were required to pay a 30% deposit of $5,700. About 4 days later (without knowing there was a 3-day deadline on cancellation for refund) we found that we desperately needed those funds elsewhere in our budget. We sent emails, faxed their request for consideration, and called with no return. We they finally did, two differentt individuals, including the Sales Manager, indicated they would "run it up the line for processin". Some smart alex finaly return a call and compared sacrifing $5700 to cancelling a hotel room and refused our request. That means that Low Country Foundation took $5700 from us, cold, for a 20 minute inspection of our crawl space. Still think you want to do business with them? Had I seen the 1.3/5 satisfaction rating I would have known better. Word to the wise.
Claimed loss: $5700.00
Desired outcome: Return of the full deposit.
