Thus is something related to Personal Loan i applied a month back as this is one of the horrible experience with HDFC Bank as its one of the leading bank. I will tell each and every situation abt wat had happen.
I applied for personal loan and a guy named Ramesh came at my house for collecting loan docs as i gave all the required docs. He told me after submitting the docs it will take a week time for all the formalities to be completed. After 2 days as guy name Pradeep came to my house for verification as i was not at home at that time..he strait away asked for 5000 rupees as to complete the verification as i shocked to hear while he talking to me on phone..After telling that i m nt able to pay that amnt he told me than we are not sure abt the loan pass or not as i required for my fathers treatment which is very urgent for me...
I gave him 3500 rupees for that and he put my file to loan deptt and pass the verification. Now after 3 days i recd another call from girl named Priya from your bank as she demands for 5000 rupees again as she told me the reason as i m working in a BPO and my salary is not more than 25000 so she needs that amnt to clear my loan and again i refuse to pay that amnt. But as its very urgern for me get that loan pass i agree to pay 4000 rupees which i told to that girl that rest 1000 i will pay after my loan get clear...
And later on i came to know that girl name Priya who ask for that amnt is no longer working in HDFC bank and guy named Ramesh also left that company .
And as me the poor guy lend that money to gave the money to your people and did not get the money back and even my file also rejected...
This is the worst experience that i had with you guys and now i m calling to those people and the guy Ramesh but nobody is picking up my phone...
So requesting if you are capable enough to look into this matter i will be very thankful to you and help me to return my money or else i will to go some senior person if you guys are not able to help me..

this is my another complaint against hdfc bank credit card division. I request you to please refund my amount of 21000 immediately, which you have debited from my new salary account towards credit card number [protected]. As it is very urgent for me i am jobless and has to take care of my mother as she is suffering from cyst, sinus and hyperthyroid. its very urgent for me to get my amount back. its a matter of life for me and for my family.
I can see hdfc is doing same thing others also. Accept this its bank fault. they have never listened to me. when i was there to me settlement and finally they have placed hold my account debited all the funds in it.
The amount has been debited from my savings account to their credit card account without any prior intimation to me. Please help me to recover my money as i dont have anything with me except for that money. Also help me to get a fair settlement and compensation from the bank for the trauma i have gone thru because of no money in my account.
If my mother's health and condition got affected because of this issue, HUMAN RIGHTS, I ll have to report to HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION, CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT, RBI & I ll have to give add in DAILY NEWS PAPER regarding this issue.

This is Drishty Maan. I have also faced cruel and rude behaviour of hdfc credit card depatment. I was using credit card in 2009. and i lost my card and informed the same to the bank and asked to issue new card to me. and they didnt issued new card however they started applying charges on me. and didnt gave any information about the new card. also no body has contacted me. In july 2010 i opened new account in hdfc bank and once my salary got credited into the account they placed hold on my account without giving me any intimation. i approached the bank and i shared my problem that i am the only one in my family who is earning and married too also taking care of medical of my brother and mother and both houses. i shoed all supported documents to them but the manager named Ms. ruby anand was very rude with me. not listend to me and after requesting her she gave me the address of her baranch which is in jankpuri. and then she abused me and made me embarrased in public. i also sent online complaint to banking ombudsman and to senior of hdfc bank and they also shouted on me and didnt gave me any resolution. as they told me to make the payment in 15 days as my account was on hold i tried everything. i also requested to them to please release small amount for me as it is very urgent for me but they didnt listened to me. and the day my amount got debited i called manager again to do something for me and she again denied and spaeking rudely to me. everytime i was saying i am ready to make settlement of the amount but they were not agreeing on that. and harassing me. and the bank manger is saying that your account will remain on hold, any amount in this account will be debited towards the card payment. i am in big pain its very urgent for me please help me. i have also menytioned that the terms and policies of card were never discussed as card was offered to me by bank. and i never chosed option of connecting my account to credit card...its a matter of life and death for me. pls help me so that bank can relase few funds of mine and ready to made settlement for me.

I am surender baisoya, I open my account 25 days ago from branch of sarojini nagar market {new delhi}110023. But I not received my cheque book, debit card and passbook yet. I just go there so many times also but the staff of bank not give any response of my complaint. I think government banks are more active than this {hdfc} bank. And they also telling lie that they sended me those welcome kits{cheque book and debit card} already.. But the truth is I didnt' get any thing yet.

I got settlement letter for rs.10600 for my hdfc credit card payment, due to my financial situation. but without my cheques & cheque numbers, hdfc have given the cheque numbers on their own in the settlement letter. hdfc person came & collected first two month dues from the settlement. after that he did not come. his contact number was switched off. but I am keep trying. from (30/7/10) the last twenty five days I am trying for the call back, settlement, spoken to miss. prabavathi, mr. sanjay, mr. prabhu of hdfc, chennai credit card department (daily calling them through phone). but I did not get the settlement letter again. "based on my july month salary rs.29423, I have arranged angioplasty surgery for my mother. but hdfc debited my salary amount rs.29423.42 without informing me from my salary account. so the surgery has been postponed on 30/8/10. she is in iccu now. I need my amount urgently for the sugery". now also I am ready for the settlement. my cell no-[protected], [protected]. kindly credit my amount rs.29423.42 immediately.
if the surgery affected because of this issue, being a member of human rights commission, I ll have to report to human rights commission, consumer protection act, rbi & I ll have to give add in daily news paper regarding this issue. dear sir, being one of the world's best bank-hdfc, kindly do the need full.

I, Miss Paulomi Dasgupta is an ex employee of HDFC Phonebanking.
Through this letter I desire to draw your attention to the unfairness done to me, or may be a lot many people.
I joined HDFC Phonebanking on September 2007 and continued till April 2009.
Sir, on February 8th 2010, I got a call from Mr. Menon ( HR – ADFC Kolkata) that a DD (bonus)of amount Rs5, 064 is lying for me at his office. I was pleasantly surprised and visited his office on 12th February 2010 at the evening straight from my school. I was told that my Phone number was not available and thats why Mr Menon had to take the number from HDFC Phonebanking unit. I came back and to my utter dismay found the date of issue of the DD was 12/8/2009.That implies that I received a stale DD. I called up Mr Menon and conveyed the same . Firstly he was trying to state that nothing can be done. I asked whether I can help myself by writing a letter to the authorities concerned, then he said he will do the needful – but I need to submit the DD to him. As advised, my father went to Bank House and gave the DD to Mr Menon. My father asked again whether any attching letter is required. To this Mr Menon said that being the HR, he will initiate the matter and inform me when the renewed DD comes . As per his instructions my father wrote my phone number again and gave it to him.
Later, he called him up on the first week of March 2010 to which Mr Menon said that no revert has come. I thaught of not calling him every month, believing this time Mr Menon would inform us in due time.
On June 26th 2010, I again called up regarding the DD. Mr Menon in response to my inquiry started accusing me for the delay I made to enquire about the same. He stated that I made a delay of one year then reduced it to six months. When asked what was the result he stated that he is not bound to report to me and even suddenly started saying that I am using abusive language ( to which I totally differ as I continuously addressed him as Sir and I used professional language ). Moreover, it is not my fault and that is why I should expect the money.
Sir, now as I am thinking decisively about the whole matter, I found out some crucial flaws from the part of our HR.
1. My phone number though not updated in the database (as conveyed by Mr Menon) is always easily available from HDFC Phonebanking unit from my supervisors and fellow collogues. The day Mr Menon called HDFC Phonebanking unit he received the number from my supervisors. Thus the question is Why did Mr Menon wait till February 2010 from August 2009 to enquire about my number ?
2. When my father visited Mr Menon to submit the DD he assured that being the HR he would look into the matter and showed him a thick bunch of such DDs. My question is Why was Mr Menon not having the phone numbers of all these people?
In this third world country, is it convincing to accept that ex employees are not interested or made great delay to take the hard earned money from HDFC ?
Sir, you can easily enquire how many bonus DDs returned from Kolkata. Moreover, it is not our fault that the phone numbers were not there with Mr Menon. So why should I be denied any assistance from ADFC HR ?
3. Is it informed that my DD needs to be reissued or it was stated that I was not present to accept the same ? Please enquire whether Mr Menon actually initiated the process as committed?
4. Sir, I got The Certificate of Excellence for the period of Oct 2008 –Dec 2008, and you can surely enquire about my behaviour in my stay in office. Mr Menon is just diverting my query about my DD by telling I do not have any authority to ask for any feedback from him. When Information Act enables Indians the Right To Information how I am denied of knowing about my own due ?
5. I acknowledge the fact that I was a ADFC staff working for your renowned bank, but I feel I need to inform this injustice to you- someone needs to take the ownership of the problem and try to resolve it . Before this day, I did not understand that I can be misled by Mr Menon and till now have no personal grudges against him. My unit(HDFC Phonebanking) took care of all my requirements and I got the best supervisors, thus never required Mr Menon, so never actually understood his working nature.
HDFC Phonebanking was my first job and the most important learning phase of my life. It thaught me punctuality professional etiquettes and most importantly the obligation to take ownership to the problems of HDFC customers. This is even assisting me in my present job as a senior secondary teacher of K.E Carmel School. I deeply believe this organization will always be fair and just with me.
Hope I have conveyed the actual scenario to you. It will be greatly content if I receive a feedback from your side at the earliest.I am ready to scan the Xerox copy of the DD that I have reserved for future requirement.

Sir,
I have a major complaint about hdfc bank limited. I am an nri and I had a fixed deposit for rs.1, 00, 000.00 and the maturity date is today (Tuesday, 27th july 2010). Since I had an emergency, the sme was liquidated on 21st july 2010 (Just before 7 days of the maturity date). Now the bank says, they will not pay me the interest on my fixed depsit due to early liquidation of my fixed deposit. Their representative mr. Rajesh totalia had told me over phone that if the fixed deposit amount is below rs.15, 00, 000 / - and apply for early liquidation, they have no provision to pay interest. It means the customer has no right to demand interest on his fixed deposit and he has to bear a loss for his mistake by choosing hdfc bank a deposit?. I would like to seek your kind opinion as to how I will be able to get the interest on my fixed deposit, till the date of its liquidity (21st july 2010).
The interest offered is 3.35% per annum, as per their original fdr available with me.

I had taken this housing loan from HDFC Limited in June 2007. The loan was floating rate loan at Banks PLR (14%) minus 3%. So, it was 11% at the time loan was taken. Recently I read in the news that HDFC has cut the rates on floating housing loans by 0.50%. I contacted the manager of HDFC Ahmedabad Branch, where I have this loan. What the Manager told me totally shocked me. He said the PLR has not been reduced, but for all the new loans taken after 23/9/2007, HDFC is now charging Banks PLR minus 3.50%. So, keeping the PLR same, while reducing the spread. This is total eye-wash and an attempt not to pass on the rate cut to existing floating rate loanholders. There should be no difference in the default risk of new and existing customers, so the spread (3%) below PLR should be same for all. It is the PLR which should be cut.

A bill for the month to be paid on 31.3.2010 is deposited in Motibagh, Delhi ATM on 29.3.2010 The next statement came on 31.5.10 withrs 1985 rupees due that includes rs 350 as penalty.I paid that bill excluding penalty as I paid previous bill in time.another bill came on 1.7.10 of Rs.521/-Another bill on 31.7.10 of Rs.928/-During these I was away from India and not used the card at all.So kindly revert the penalties (late fees) so that I can safely reuse the cridit card.

I had lost my debit card for my salary account no. [protected] on nay 23rdmay, '10.I had gone to my
branch on 24th may & filled an application for a new card. I got my new card on 2nd june but the pin no. which came on 4th june mentioned credit card pin. i went again to the branch in Khan Market & showed them that i have receieved the wrong pin so i was made to fill a form again for the new pin which i was assured will come in 1 week to the branch. I have been following up regularly since 2oth June & everytime i call up the branch people would tell me that they would check the cause of delay & call to inform me about the delay.But till date i have not received a single call from the branch informing me about the status of the pin, After i got no response from the branch
i called the phone banking yesterday (25th june) to be told that the application for the pin has reached them only on 24th june, exactly 1 month after i had applied for my new card & again i will have to wait for 1 week to get my pin which means both for the months of june & july i would not be able to check the salary on the 1st.
This is totally unacceptable & really shows a callous
attitude towards your cutomers.I dont know where the
mistake has happened but i want an explaination to why i received the wrong pin in the 1st time & why it
has taken the bank 1 month to deliver the right one to me.

cancellation of auto loan

My auto loan a/c no is [protected], which was disbursed on 28th march 2010, and due to some probleme, I cancelled the loan on on 9/4/2010, and also paid rs 1000/- as cancellation charge and interest of rs. 1630/- as required by the officer at hdfc walk in branch, swastik chamber, mumbai.
I got assurance that the above loan will be cancelled within one month time. But even after several followup the loan has not been cancelled, and the ecs of rs. 8136/- got debited from my account in the month of may -2010. Now I am fedup following with walkin branch, chembur, and the concerned sales manager mr. Aslam sayyad.

Hello Sir/Madam,
My name is Kamal Preet Singh resident of Banur (pin-140601) having a bank acc. in HDFC branch Rajpura Calibre Market. I am living in jalandhar since 1 month, which is near about 150km from rajpura. I needed to deposit 4000 RS urgently through the branch which is near by my residence which is near bus stand Jalandhar. But the branch official refused to let me access, giving me the excuse that their rules had been changed, and now i have to deposite the money from my home branch. But as I was not been informed about this prior, so its been their responsibility to find me some way, looking to my urgency. But the way they responded was clearly showing their attitude of not concern.
Here my point is when all other banks are providing this facility of bank flexibility why HDFC has withdrawn this right of mine.
The behaviour of the employee named Ms. P. Walia cabin no. 4, at HDFC branch Jalandhar(near bus stand) was very rude and she was no where willing to look at my problem. As per her Iam a B-2 grade customer and HDFC does not provide this facility to such a person. When i informed her that my bank balance never goes down below Rs 10000/- and i too have an FD of 1L, also iam a regular netsafe user
that clears that Iam a profit making customer how could they put me in B-2 grade, I didnt recieved any response.
So I request your kindness to look into the case and take some urgent step. Otherwise if nothing could be done I would like to close my relations with HDFC. Iam looking forward to your response.

This is to inform you that I am holding a HDFC credit card for the last 4 years.
Recivery agents of HDFC Bank Kolkata (contact no : [protected] & [protected] & [protected]) is threatening me repeatedly and he is behaving very rudely.He is using different rough language & entertaining in personal things.
Also he is calling to my office boss, neighbours even more than 20 times per day so that i am afraid of loosing my job. He is not telling his name also.
I have also informed HDFC Bank customer care through email and phone..But still there is no result atall..
I would like to request you to kindly do the needful so that i can get rid of these embarrasing situation.

non receipt of monthly statement
I have been using HDFC bank credit card for about five months.I have not received monthly statement or e-statement till date.I am informed only throgh sms.
non receipt of bill statements on time is regretted
my credit card no.[protected], iam not receiving monthly statement before 25th every month, sothat iam uncomfortable in making payments. the bilin date is 15th every month, please make it convinient to send tbhe statement before 25th every month. please dothe needful.
I have been using an hdfc credit card as well and always receive my bills after my due date and is always charged late fees thereafter. When I called them up to complain they gave the following excuses:
1) "We have the wrong address" : If so then how come the bills are sent late?
2) "You know your billing cycle ends on 14th.. you're supposed to call us up and check"
3) "We use postal mail service not courier so we cant track"
Why is it that all other banks can deliver on time while HDFC cant? Their response "we cant say anything about other banks"
fraud / forgery in savings account
On 16/4/2010, I found Rs. 15.60 lakhs missing from my bank account through frauduelent transactions. -- HDFC Bank, Sector 18, Noida.
FIR was filed with Police, media covered the entire case. Bank officials told me that my money is safe and they will credit within two days as I was to leave for USA on 22/4/10.
Now, its been almost one month and they have not yet credited my money.
We deposit the money with banks for safe keeping and it should be available to us whenever we want it. HDFC Bank has failed in its commitment to the account holders. I am also filing a complaint with Banking Ombdusman.
