Hazelton's review: Hazeltons.com

I am submitting this complaint against Hazelton’s Gift Baskets / hazeltons.com regarding Order HU512819591.

I purchased the product “Picnic Time Gift Basket” from hazeltons.com. According to the product page, the order included not only food items, but also the picnic basket itself with the necessary cutlery and dishware. However, when the package was delivered, the picnic basket was missing. I received only part of the order, despite paying for a product that was advertised as including the basket. The total order value was approximately $260, and the basket was one of the main reasons I placed the order.

I believe this may constitute misleading product representation and a failure to deliver goods as described.

In addition, the order was delivered late, and the company’s customer support has not provided any meaningful assistance. Hazelton’s states in its FAQ that complaints regarding damaged, defective and/or missing items should be submitted by email within five days of delivery and that customer service will provide a resolution within 24-48 hours. Their Contact Us page also states that a team member will respond within 1 business day. Despite my complaint, I received only automated replies and no real explanation or resolution.

• photos of the delivered contents showing the missing basket;
• copies of my communication with the company.

I respectfully ask that this complaint be recorded and reviewed as a report of a potentially deceptive or unfair online sales practice.
