On my statement, a $2.50 long distance charge appears for a call I did not make, to Minnesota - there is no record in my phone about such a call, and I haven't had any reason to call anyone in the US or anywhere else outside of Canada. I complained through AskJack first, the answer was is that I "don't have long distance calls" on my plan, which is irrelevant since I did not make this call. I called to speak with a live agent; they sent me a link to AskJack to explain my situation. I did; a week later the reply came that my case was reviewed, and "there is no long distance calls option" on my plan. This was not the answer to my question, again. So I called again, and the agent told me there was nothing that can be done since this call shows in their system. Except: I did not make this call! I wonder if Fido does this on purpose, systematically or randomly, to fraudulently gain a few extra dollars per customer, hoping we won't raise the issue if it's a small charge? I'm very unhappy with this company!
Claimed loss: $2.50 - plus a lot of my time spent explaining my case online and over the phone!
Desired outcome: Fido to reverse the $2.50 on my bill and offer an apology for the error they had made!
