I am writing to formally lodge a claim for reimbursement following the failure to deliver my checked baggage during my recent travel from Beirut (BEY) to Beijing (PEK) via Cairo (CAI) on 23 March 2026 my luggage has been missing for five days.
This delay caused significant hardship as I am traveling with my child, who is currently representing our national delegation in the World Wushu Championships here in China. Due to the absence of our luggage, which contained all necessary athletic equipment and personal attire, I was forced to make emergency purchases to ensure my son could compete and that we had basic clothing for our stay.
Claimed loss: Since we are participating in a world championship event, we were obliged to buy all our staff and gears
