DVChecks provides report and that is all. Don’t expect them to support you any other way. Insurance company wouldn’t budge off of original offer before and after I paid for report. DVChecks would not give refund because they said I had an offer from the insurance company. I took the insurance company to Small Claims court and I asked DVChecks to be my witness. Their response was to pay more money. Useless company! I could have done as much research as they have done. They can’t back up their report and the insurance companies know it.
Here is their response:
We had recommended that you file it as a SC property damage arbitration, see attached document.
Please see if you’re able to convert the court to property damage arbitration.
Court requires you to prove that the accident wasn’t your fault, requires witnesses, and is more complicated than arbitration. Arbitration also allows written evidence, rather than live testimony.
We offer remote expert witness testimony for additional fees. It starts at $500 for the first two hours and $250 an hour for every hour after that. The problem for us is that we get stuck in a waiting room while the court goes through all the other cases, taking us away from our day and driving up costs for you.
Do you want to try to get this moved to an arbitration case?
Recommendation: Don’t use. Find another company.
