Dollar General

I put the '$5 off $25' digital coupon in 'my coupons' on my DG app, but it didn't show up at the register when my daughter went to check out. She entered our phone number like we always do. Because I wasn't there with the app, the associate was unable to override it so we were not able to save the $5 :(

Everytime I ask a question about the restock of products that are in high demand at the moment the employees get very rude. Today they were restocking shelves and I inquired about Lysol and they looked at me with a smug look and stated that they do not have any. When I asked if they were in the process of stocking them on the shelves they again in a rude tone stated that they had not found them yet and could not tell me when they would be available, which I am fine with. It's the manner in which they responded that got me.

I work for a business that has been deemed essential during this time. The employees know that I work for this company and almost always treat us rudely. We are trying to protect our employees that are having to work through this pandemic, nothing more. We are not asking for extra just what we are allowed.

On another note.
About 2 weeks ago I was in the same store for personal shopping
and the employee working the check out was making small talk and asked where I worked, when I told him he beame upset and rambled about how he missed the bank that was in its place and didn't understand why our
company even existed in this city. After checking out completely I began leaving the store and he said " Don't trip on your way out". This is not freindly customer service.

Everytime I or my colleages enter this store the employees give us rude
looks and reponses to questions. They make "I'll tell you later jokes"
We are a business that has a right to buy products just as anyone else. I now feel anxiety everytime I even think about shopping at this location which is a normal 2-3 time a week stop on a normal non-pandemic bases. I will be sure to document my experience the next time.

4/4/2020 between the hours of 11-1130am.. I went to the dollar store in beechmont ky.. There was approximetly 5-6 employees sitting out front smoking.. The store manager melissa langley followed me int the store and proceed to harrass me because I took a picture of them social gathering less than 6 feets out front. When I left the store the other employees who were still sitting out front started yelling at me and harrassing me before I could even get in my car.. They started harrassing me on facebook this melissa langley and her husband joey langley aka ky sportspix on facebook. They called me a fat a* and my grandson who was with me a creepy old man and a fat a*, and that they should have took that tote I bought and used it on my head like a whack a mole they also made fun of my appearance and what I was wearing (please note that I am also handicapped).. Now the only reason I went in this store was to purchase some items for my handicapped sister who can't drive or get out.. She had wanted a tote to put her bread in so it would not go stale on her.. I have the picture but I don't know how to attach it.. But they have excellent cameras at the store that you can access.. Thank you

I went to the tilton illionis store to get my at&t card refilled on a refill card I had. When I went to put the number on the card into my phone, it said the number already used. The phone company said thier was supposed to be a pin number on the reciept. There wasnt. So I went back into the store and they said to use the pin # on card. I told them I didnt work since it was already used. I then asked for a refund and the manger said no. Then I said your screwing me out of my money. I live on a fixed income. We got into a argument about it. He told me to leave and its people like me that a spreading coronas virius. I have a bad heart. But he was very very rude to me in front of other custemers. I did get mad myself but he shouldnt been so rude. Im not going back to that store. But I am still going back to other stores. It was about 2:00 in the afternoon on april 3rd. I went into Dollar General in Gaston, NC to see if they had paper towels and bathroom tissue. I saw a box of paper towels on the floor so a gentleman reached in and got me two packs. I went to the register and asked about the other paper towels in the box that wasn't open. The manager said that she couldn't sell them because she need them to clean the store, so she went in the back and pushed the box in the back I guess where they keep stuff and the two packs that I had in my basket, she said that she couldn't sell them to me. I was pissed. I shop at DG all the time, but now I have to think twice, because she act like she was accusing me of going in the box.

I called in a complaint and spoke with an Elaine, she said she was the only Elaine in customer support complaint department and also said, a turn around contact would be only 48 hours? This complaint was called in 3.5 weeks ago?
I am concerned about the digital coupons... I have done everything and still can't get the coupons to be recognized at any of your stores..in my area,
I've been to 6. the cashier specifically the one that's in Spruce Pine NC, her name is Janet, was Very rude and very uncooperative when asking for assistance... I am handicapped and she is just so unhappy with her job, she verbalized to me after I asked about the coupons not working, she stated that "good luck getting anyone from corporate to help to you, our phone haven't worked here

she is very disgruntled and very unprofessional even if this is a minimum wage job./employee. I've noticed that at the DG stores at Spruce Pine & Elk Park (Janet at Spruce Pine which she wasn't wearing a name badge either
And I had to ask her what her Name was.)
I called in to file a complaint and as above
A Lady by the name of Elaine took my call and assured me that turn around time for a call back was 48'hours.? This was before the quarantine for Covid 19'so this can't be blamed on that!.

Spoke so unprofessional about my supervisors as (Janet) does about the dollar general management.
She needs a.. good dose of "find another job out Of the public eye", she isn't good for anyone moral!
I am upset Due to having to spend so much money everytime I come Into DG and my iPhone is blocked from using Digital coupons...?! I am a customer that has worked hard all my life And now that I'm disabled I deserve for my coupons that have been clipped and downloaded to work...
The staff always says their phone never works in the stores either... it's fraud to advertise coupons then not be able to use?!
