I live near store in McDaniels Ky, We are avoiding this store as much as possible. Reasons: Very unorganized, poorly stocked, always out of stuff, long lines at check out, one checker. My wheelchair cant get down isles
One good thing, they recently added some fresh produce.
Please hire enough people to stock & keep organized. Add self check outs.
Stock more milk, juice, ect.
Thanks to your new store in Harned, Ky we go there instead which is about 10 miles away. McDaniels is less than a mile. Thank you,
Regarding visit
On Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at 10:15 a.m. I went to the Dollar General store located on Village Road, Leland, NC 28451. Before I entered the building I put my mask on my face and read the sign on the door that said "Mask Required" with the male and female on the sign with their mask on. The first person I encountered was a vendor close to the front door putting product on the floor. He not only did not have a mask on his face, he did not even have on around his neck. As I walked through the store, I encountered 2 employees with their mask under their necks. I asked one of them, "Aren't you supposed to have your mask over your nose and mouth while there are customers within 6 feet of you"? She just looked at me like I had a third eye in the middle of my forehead and never said a word. I told her I would not shop in a store that would not follow State guidelines and I walked out. I know that it is hard to "make" customers wear a mask but it should be mandatory for employees for their and my protection. It's the law in the state of North Carolina.

On Aug 31st, I went to the DG on S. Rock Rd. I realized I left my mask in the car and was walking back when a mask-less couple approached. I finally entered the store to witness at least 6 patrons in line without masks. There is a visible "masks required" sign posted on the door but noone is enforcing this mandate...200, 000 deaths! Our store has been clean and organized until now! I know we are in a pandemic this is not about empty shelves! We are shopping off carts while workers are flirting around the store doing nothing! I had to move a full cart of empty boxes to get my dog food! Every aisle you try to navigate either has a large cart in it or 2 employees. Shooting the breeze! I stood in line waiting my turn only to have a lady walk in the wrong way and boom a girl is there to help her with her return and then not even help people waiting! And never are there more than 1 cashier! The store needs new management and some employees need to be let go of or supervised!
No masks at the ashland store :- (
I was just at the store in Ashland, Virginia on yesterday. There are signs on the door that say you must wear a mask when entering. When I went in the store with my mask on I encountered 5 people including the cashier and NONE of them had on masks. This is not the first time I have gone in and seen customers without a mask nor this cashier. I like shopping at this store because I find good bargains, however, I feel like I am going to have to stop going because I cannot go into places while I am trying to protect them by wearing my mask but no one cares about protecting me. Please get this corrected so I don't have to stop shopping here.

Your guys store around here are ran like crap. I see the manger and the assistant manager go out and smoke 20 times their shift or they just stand around and talk to their family members whenever they come in and not help out the rest of the stuff the store looks like it's never been swept never been mopped there's only about two good employees and you're getting ready to lose both of those because management.
