Damac Luxury is the worst company I have ever worked for.
I hope to alert whoever got a job proposal by them. Watch out!
Their personnel treatment is awful as they tried to play smart with who is writing: they asked me to cancel my Visa before get my last salary which is against the law. The marketing is incompetent and useless with no skills and knowledge of the basics. They have the fortune of having a luxury brands in retail and they are spoiling this brand keeping the prices + 30-35% than the actual pricelists and with 4 months delivery time because of their internal procedure. this company is a shame and a bunch of incompetent people.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Unpaid settlements
After now waiting over 2 months since my settlement was agreed, and mya I add other people (ex employees) also have not received settlement. I put a deposit of 20,000AED in March 2022 on a villa in Dubai. After 4 weeks I found out Damac has sold the property to someone else. They were well aware they sold it to someone else from day one but pretended selling it to me and taking money from me. I visited in May 22 to request my money back which they agreed however till today October 22 I still have not received my money back. I chased every week with emails. completing forms and texting the agents so far nothing. they lied and lied that I am getting it next week, but it never happens.
Dubai is going to have a very bad name if they continue to let the Pakistani and Indian staff running the country- they are full of lies and corrupted.
Dubai says they have a very strict law- where is their law allowing Damac to be so corrupted and full of lies.
All I want my money back
They have a very high staff turnover and Damac's construction record is even worse with many stalled projects awaiting completion throughout Middle East North Africa. We know of 30 people (including ourselves) awaiting completion of the Piazza Lusail project in Qatar launched by Damac in June 2006. They have had 40% of many peoples money upfront for the $300m project and have awarded the main contract to themselves. To date construction on the project has barely started and the whole project is shrouded in secrecy.
