What has happened to CVS?
I scheduled Covid and flu shot with CVS online only to be texted the night before my appointment that the vaccines were not available yet and to reschedule. I rescheduled for another day only to get the same text again that they were not available and to reschedule. I rescheduled for a third time and, you guessed it, I got the same text again the night before my appointment. I figured I'd wait a few weeks before rescheduling again. CVS calls me to tell me that the vaccines are, indeed, in and a glitch was sending out these texts. I go in, get my shots. Now I get constant texts telling me how sorry CVS is for the delay and not to forget to reschedule. I inform CVS that I already got the shots but the texts still keep coming to reschedule. It's time for CVS to get its act together.
Recommendation: Schedule with someone else who is more reliable.
Today, 10/4/2023, our doctor called in a few prescriptions for my sick wife to the CVS on Charlotte Street in Pottstown, PA. Later, around dinner time, I called CVS to inquire about the status of the prescriptions so I could avoid driving all the way to the pharmacy if they were not going to be ready. I spoke with the pharmacist who informed me that they were finishing up the prescriptions as we spoke and to wait a few more minutes before driving over to pick them up. He also reminded me not to wait too long because the pharmacy was closing at 7:00pm. I waited for a while and arrived at the pharmacy at approximately 6:45. The man at the counter does not even make eye contact with me, does not greet me with a "how may I help you", and mumbles in a monotone robotic voice, "Name and date of birth". I provide him with the information. He again mumbles in his monotone voice that the prescriptions are not filled yet and the earliest I would be able to pick them up would be the next day. I informed him that I had already spoken to the pharmacist on the phone almost an hour ago and he had told me they were finishing up with them then and they'd be ready when I arrived. "We are sorry. Anything else you need?" was his monotone, robotic response. I was livid at his "too bad, take it or leave it" attitude.
Robot answering service about 10 years
The robot answering machiine , when it was male it was awful but at least every question did not prompt you to get an app .
The new female voice is identical as the old save that it aggressively wants you to download their bloody app . It never tells me i have presciptions ready , never ever . So when I call i am made to wait through the endless nonsense that does not pertain to me and wait until i may push the button to speak with a pharmacist .
Not only all of this , i do not receive a phone call or a message when my scripts have been filled ,
And when i call , the damned robot says nothing as to whether or not my scripts are ready . It is endlessly frustrating .
I am on 24 medications and this "Service" needs to be junked , it is worse than useless .
Recommendation: Complain , it may be screaming into the void but maybe it will help . the answering service is 100% broken.

Gift card Nike
I purchased a gift card and gave it to my boss for christmas. The card while activated at cvs did not work. I had gone back to the store and there it began not our fault call nike, I call nike they say cvs will refund you, cvs bounced me back and forth with no resolution. I currently reached out to the bbb bureau and they are reaching out to bith the merchant and business owner. I will never go back to cvs and buy anything I will only use the pharmacy. Knowing that they check to make sure the card was never used. This was noted that's why I was warranted return of my $150 that I lost but for them to push back to the other store is an unfair way to do business. You will see how long I was kept on hold and how how many times I called and there was no resolved. You’ll see the receipt, the card everything you need.
Claimed loss: $150
Desired outcome: Refund

rx payment in dispute
My wife's Humira prescription was cancelled for non-payment because we should owe 0 and are being charge $3000! We have had an ongoing dispute between United HealthCare, Humira, Humira co-pay, and Prudent Rx. No one wants to be responsible for fixing this problem. Have called on this almost 30 times since November and only get a pass the buck to someone else or some other entity. Priority Mailed documentation CVS pharmacy since the (incorrect)invoices come from them. Confirmed receipt with USPS tracking. Now my wife finds out that her mediction won't be sent until the (incorrect) bill is paid. How can a company ethically and legally do this?

cvs health digital and one step pregnancy test kit
I took a pregnancy test this morning that had a faint blue positive for pregnancy. I used the CVS brand Advanced Early One Step Test in the pink box. Due to the line being faint I wanted to go ahead and confirm if it was positive by buying a digital test/one step test. These both came in one box labeled- Digital & One Step Test Kit (in the blue box). After...

The pharmacy in the albertsons unholy in Portland Oregon used to be such a great place to go, but now that they’ve taken over the Rite Aid customers, I have been treated poorly by the pharmacist and their voicemail has been full for two weeks. There’s no way for doctors to get a hold of the pharmacists there’s no way for customers like myself to leave messages and often times I have to call 12 to 13 times to get someone to answer the phone it looks like your resolution rate is pretty poor so I don’t expect anything out of this but at least I’ve said something about the poor treatment that I’ve had. I’ve been trying for days to get a prescription filled for an infection I have and now I’ll have to. Monday because the voicemail is full and they never contacted my doctor even though they needed to
Desired outcome: I’m sure the person that’s getting this email is underpaid and isn’t treated well either and so nothing will change.

On hold for 2.25 hours before giving up
Today is Monday, Jan. 22 at 4:57 pm and I have the proof of this call time on my phone. This isn't ok. I don't care how short staffed you are or what is going on you can get through phone calls faster than this. It makes you feel like you all just aren't doing your job. I needed to give you my daughters secondary insurance coverage and you never answered the phone. At this point I feel CVS owes me money. This is just unacceptable! To add insult to injury the music for the calls on hold is beyond terrible.
Claimed loss: Never was able to give the secondary insurance information.
Desired outcome: That my daughters secondary insurance could be filed so you all will stop sending me letters.

A pharmacy manager
This pharmacy in Norwood Ohio 45212 has a pharmacy manager who is rude and completely unfit as a pharmacist. They have filled prescriptions for me that my daughter picked up for me. Yesterday she ask about my paroxetine and was told they will fax doctor since I had no refills. 20 minutes later they text me saying it was ready. So she picked up prescriptions yesterday and gave they gave her test strips that i told them were not what I used. and filled the second cvs reader and strips that I already had. Why in the world would I want to Pay for 2 sets of strips and another reader that I got maybe MONTH ago. I was on phone with daughter when she went in today to get the money back for the wrong strips and the second reader and strips. She told him that i had tried to call them and no one answered the phone he told her that I was a liar. mind you I was on phone video call when all this occurred. And he basically made her keep the stuff and then refilled a prescription for Paroxetine 3 bottles of 30. now understand this is the 2nd prescription for paroxetine in 2 days. His name is KEITH, and he is very rude and very unprofessional. And you wonder why CVS has got a bad rep in the pharmacy world
