I am submitting this complaint to document an experience involving an individual named Bruce Wookey, who I believe may have been misrepresenting himself as being affiliated with or acting on behalf of Cartesian Capital Group.
During my interaction with Bruce Wookey, representations were made that suggested a connection to Cartesian Capital Group. Based on my subsequent checks and communications, I was unable to independently verify this affiliation through official Cartesian Capital Group channels or publicly available information.
This caused serious concern, as the representations appeared to imply authority, legitimacy, or backing that does not exist. I believe this conduct is misleading to others and potentially harmful if individuals rely on these claims when making financial or business decisions.

This "complaint is a complete and utter malicious defamatory fabrication! I had never heard of Fred Harington until I saw this post, and I have most certainly never communicated with him!
Cartesian Capital and its affiliated Australian Financial Service Licence holder Cartesian Corporate Finance Limited (which was sold in November 2023) have successfully operated in Australia and internationally through TCA and TAP for over 25 years without any complaints or issues with our regulator ASIC. Indeed we are assisting ASIC in their multiple investigations into a serial fraudster who we assisted in bankrupting and who we also assisted in liquidating two affiliated companies who had been trading whilst insolvent since 2021. The liquidators also confirmed the frauds and the Bankruptcy Trustee confirmed an individual with a gambling addiction and affirmed a net asset deficiency exceeding $10.7 million making a collective net asset deficiency of circa $20 million.
