I had everything insured with them including my car after my car was in a wreck. They were going to raise my car insurance by doubling it so I said I’ll get insurance elsewhere unbeknownst to me. They sent a letter to my mortgage companies and up my insurance $700 a month. I did not OK this I did not know about this when I called them. They didn’t tell me it was a penalty for taking canceling my car insurance. They told me that several people around me had filed claims so therefore, my insurance had to go up. I told them that I would like to renegotiate this and the only thing they could do for me to lower my insurance was to my deductible. They have taken $4200 out of my more escrow account as well as causing my mortgage payment to go up to something I can’t afford.

Claimed loss: $4200

Desired outcome: I would like that return to me as well as my policy to go back to what I agreed too.
