Allegiant Air review: Flight attendant

On our recent flight on March 28, 2026 on flight 1228 at 4:08pm I had a very rude flight attendant, which I find it necessary to complain about when I traveled with my small dog.
I understand that Allegiant’s policy requires pets to remain inside their carriers during the flight, and I do not dispute that requirement. At the very end of the flight my dog was moving around in a distressed manner and I r
Took her out of her kennel and placed her on my lap and we both sleep.
I was rudely woke by a large African American flight attendant who asked for my license, I said what is this about? She responded she was writing a report on me to the FAA.
However, at no point during the flight did any member of the flight crew advise me that my dog needed to be placed back into the carrier. I was given no instruction, warning, or opportunity to correct the situation.
Instead, I was later informed that I had been reported to the Federal Aviation Administration without any prior communication. This is concerning, as the situation could have been immediately resolved had a crew member simply addressed it at the time. Which the same flight attendant lied and said a crew member had told me the restrictions and that she heard her.
It is my understanding that standard practice is to first provide passengers with clear direction and the opportunity to comply before escalating a matter to formal reporting. In this case, that did not occur.
Had I been made aware of any concern, I would have complied immediately and without hesitation. I respect airline safety policies and would never intentionally disregard them.
Given the lack of communication and the absence of any attempt to resolve the matter during the flight, I respectfully request that this report be reviewed and reconsidered.
I may also note that she and her partnered flight attendant were very Kurt and angry acting towards other passengers.
