I bought an $11,000 car from them on April 20th. It did not come with a full tank of gas so I filled it up. After four days a cylinder blew and they had to have it over the weekend. They said they normally don’t do loaners but gave me one “out of the kindness of their hearts”… I was told I’d have my car back Monday around lunch time hopefully but heard nothing until I called at 4pm that day. They said they changed the spark plugs and it should be ready in the next day. About 145 the next day it was finally “ready”, yet still shaking. The mechanic road with me and told me that the shaking was “the cleaner working itself out and breaking stuff up”….. after noticing they used almost all of my gas, I asked if they could just replace what was used. Aaron walked away without saying anything, so I assumed he was getting a gas card. No. He walked back after 5 minutes, laid his hands down on the desk and said “let me ask you this, did you put gas in the loaner?” I said yes I filled it to where it was when i got it. Almost half of a tank. He said “do you have the receipts?” I told him I have them on my phone. He then proceeded to make me show him my bank statements and said they didn’t prove anything because they didn’t say “fuel” and only said “Sam’s Club”… he got upset and took my keys to go take my car away from me again to put gas in it. I was very upset over the entire situation so I decided to walk up to the other workers and tell them how I was treated. One of the men happened to be the owner AND the father of the man who had just treated me poorly. After I told him what happened he said he was sorry and I shouldn’t be treated like that, asked me if I wanted anything to make up for it and I said I just want an apology from Aaron, yet he did not say anything to Aaron when he returned. I told Aaron he should treat people better after I got my keys back and he started immediately defending all of his actions and saying I took it all wrong.
No real apology was ever given to me. Only sarcasm after I said that all I wanted was an apology.
I would never go here again, and neither will any of my family.
Even though those guys ruined what should’ve been a happy experience for me, the man who sold me the car, Ryan, was amazing. He was kind and helpful. Unfortunately he wasn’t there today when this happened to me.
Recommendation: Don’t risk it. Cylinder blew in 4 days and the owner and son treated me poorly after this experience.
